Parents of the bride are Janet and Sam Alley, 54 Chenal Circle. Her grandparents are Nadieh and the late Elias Akel of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Naimeh and Khamis Alley of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Karen and Rakesh Sapra of Alpharetta, Ga., and the grandson of Richard and the late Nancy Doutt of East Liverpool, Ohio, and the late Shanti and Hans Sapra of Lucknow, India.

Garlands of roses, hydrangeas, stock and peonies in shades of white, amethyst and merlot decorated candle stands in the chancel and the church pews. Music was by harpist Rebecca Ricks and violinist Diane Silberstein.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a strapless gown of beaded Alencon lace over silk crepe. She carried a bouquet of peonies, roses, ranunculus and orchids in shades of white, amethyst and magenta.

Jessica Jill Alley of Dallas served as her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lena Alley, sister-in-law of the bride, and Heather Francis, cousin of the bride, both of Dallas; Kristin Alley and Lisa Alley, cousins of the bride, both of Little Rock; Michelle Clark of Pittsburgh; Alexandra Issa, cousin of the bride, and Ines Tovo and Rosemary Purdy, all of New York; and Marianne Sapra of Alpharetta, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Sophia Akel of Apopka, Fla., cousin of the bride. They wore cobalt blue chiffon gowns and carried white bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, peonies and stock.

Flower girls were Vivienne Alley of Dallas, niece of the bride, and Lily Bilbrey of Charleston, S.C., cousin of the groom. Ring bearers were Brody Arman of Sherwood, cousin of the bride, and Wyatt Childers of Cooke­ville, Tenn., cousin of the groom.

Best man was Eric Faivre of Gulfport, Fla., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Derek Alley of Dallas, brother of the bride; John James Arminio, Jeffrey Ely, Nicholas Mellott, Alexander Park and Robert Thompson, all of Atlanta; Ankit Bajaj, cousin of the groom, and Patrick Izzo, both of New York; and Joseph Rosado of Washington. Guests were seated by Brian Alley of Little Rock and Ryan Issa of New York, both cousins of the bride; Joseph Guttenplan of Salt Lake City; and Andre Guzman of Santa Monica, Calif.

A reception at Chenal Country Club followed the ceremony. Guest tables alternated towering vases of hydrangeas, roses, peonies, lilies and stock with arrangements of orchids and peonies in white and jewel tones. The mantel held gold and silver candle stands along with hydrangeas, roses, orchids and lilies.

The bride has bachelor's degrees in economics and sociology from Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Va., and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Georgia at Athens. She is employed in business development at VCC, LCC.

The groom has bachelor's degrees in international relations and business administration from Boston University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Georgia. He is a portfolio specialist at Voya Investment Management.

After a wedding trip to Capetown, South Africa, the couple will live in Atlanta.
