A Fountain Hill man was killed Wednesday night after a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 425 about 8 miles north of Hamburg in Ashley County, Arkansas State Police reported.
Lem Lambert, 73, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet east on Arkansas 8 at 7:25 p.m. when the vehicle ran a stop sign at the U.S. 425 intersection, left the highway, and hit an embankment and a tree.
Lambert was taken to Ashley County Medical Center and later died.
At the time of the crash, the weather was clear and roads were dry.
