Motorcyclist killed in crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a Monday night wreck in Jonesboro, Arkansas State Police said.

Noah Daniel Walker, 19, of Jonesboro was driving a 2013 Honda motorcycle north on South Culberhouse Street in Jonesboro, state police reported. A 2007 Dodge Charger traveling west on Craighead Forest Road was making a left turn onto South Culberhouse Street and struck the motorcycle.

The wreck, which killed Walker, occurred at 8:20 p.m. Monday, state police said.

The name of the driver of the Charger wasn't released by state police. State police said the driver wasn't injured.

On Tuesday, state police reported a Mount Ida man died from injuries suffered in a May 20 crash in Montgomery County.

William Davidson, 75, of Mount Ida was driving a 2002 Dodge Durango west on U.S. 270 near Denby Point on Lake Ouachita, state police reported. The Dodge left the roadway, went down an embankment and rolled into the lake.

The wreck occurred at 12:50 p.m. May 20 just east of a bridge crossing Lake Ouachita near Denby Point, state police said.

Davidson's Dodge was discovered Friday morning by search-and-rescue workers, state police reported. He was pronounced dead Friday evening.

Conditions were clear and the roads were dry at the time of both wrecks, state police reported.
