My kitchen (regrettably) is full of gadgets and gizmos I probably don't really need. And The Measuring Colander from Chef's Planet definitely falls into that category. I first wrote about the colander-meets-measuring cup in 2012. I liked it. I liked it so much I forgot I already owned one and bought a second one. It's the sort of tool I find myself using often during berry season, but considering it can also be used to drain beans and canned tuna, perhaps I should find an excuse to keep it visible, so I'll remember I have it. My main complaint is the cup lacks printed measure lines, and it can be difficult to read the embossed lines in poor lighting.
