Man, 21, charged in child-rape case

A Greenbrier man was arrested on 21 counts of rape and two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault involving three minors, according to a Lonoke County sheriff's office news release.

The sheriff's office announced Friday the arrest of Jarrod Felkins, 21, of Greenbrier. Felkins was arraigned in court Thursday and was being held in the Lonoke County jail Saturday afternoon in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

On April 20, the sheriff's office received a report from the state's child-abuse hotline accusing Felkins of sexually abusing a 12-year-old, the news release said. While investigating that accusation, the sheriff's office received two more reports accusing Felkins of sexually abusing a 14-year-old and a 7-year-old.
