SPRINGDALE -- Drivers soon may see some delays because of road work.
The northern lane on Don Tyson Parkway between 40th Street and Carley Road will be closed for construction starting Tuesday morning, according to a news release from Springdale's engineering department. It will stay closed until improvement to the north part of the street are finished. The closing will not block access to any property, but there may be traffic congestion.
Johnson Road will be closed to traffic from Don Tyson Parkway and Magnolia Drive for about two weeks starting on Wednesday, according to another release from the department. People who live in that area will have access from the north at Don Tyson Parkway.
The release about the Johnson Road closing notes Thompson Street via Don Tyson Parkway and Shady Grove Road as well as Carley Road via Don Tyson Parkway and Magnolia Drive as alternate routes.
