Where I live: Downtown in the MacArthur Park Historic District of Little Rock, in a house built in 1877 that's been renovated into apartments. I love the high ceilings and architectural details, but my favorite thing about living here is my neighbors. Everyone makes an effort to know everyone else. I could borrow sugar from a number of people, day or night.

Occupation: I'll be graduating from UALR with an art degree this summer and applying to graduate schools this fall. I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to complete a few large projects in Little Rock, including yarn bombing the Arkansas Arts Center.

My favorite space is: My living room.

Why? I feel like the majority of my life happens in my living room. It doubles as a studio space so if I'm not studying, I'm making something. It's also where I display a lot of my art collection. I try and pick up small pieces when I travel, and I've met some amazing artists while in school, so I've collected some of their pieces, as well.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Make the fireplace functional! There are two gorgeous, original fireplaces in my apartment that have become purely decorative over the years. Being able to have a fire in the winter would make my favorite space perfect.
