Charlie Nichelle Dyer became the bride of Blair Jones Butler at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at St. John's Chapel by the Creek in Benton. Bruce Holsted officiated.

Pat and Denny Dyer of Benton are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Mary and the late Densel Dyer and Freddie and the late Carl Hugh Lawhon, all also of Benton.

The groom is the son of Laurie and Jerome Butler of North Little Rock. His grandparents are Russell and the late Marilyn Jones of Guthrie, Okla., and the late Bettie Butler and the late Albert Butler, both of Claremore, Okla.

Chapel pews were decorated with calla lilies and vines.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with a trumpet silhouette, a plunging neckline, cut-out back and Swarovski crystal-accented floral belt. She carried an arrangement of anemones, garden roses, vines, ferns and ranunculas.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Mary Mickel of Austin, Texas, and Layne Baxter of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Shelby Johnston of Sherwood, and Hannah Howe and Ashley Dixon, both also Little Rock. They chose gowns in shades of peach and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.

Josh Stoffer of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Matt Brown of Fayetteville, Jeff Crow, John Crain and Jeff McKay, all of North Little Rock.

A reception at the Chapel's Oakwood Terrace followed the ceremony. Guest tables held arrangements of fern, antique bottles and milk glass with a mix of flowers including ranunculus, garden roses and anenomes. A mantel was decorated with cascades of ruscus, smilax vines, roses and ranunculus. Music was by Big John Miller Band.

The bride graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville Eleanor Mann School of Nursing with a bachelor's degree in nursing and from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a master's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit.

The groom graduated from the Culinary Institute of Platt College in Tulsa with a bachelor's degree in hospitality and restaurant management. He is a chef at Jasmine Porch, The Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island, S.C.

After a honeymoon in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Charleston, S.C.
