— After a blowout loss Thursday, Arkansas returned the favor Friday at Georgia.

The No. 20 Razorbacks beat the Bulldogs 9-0 at Foley Field in Athens, Georgia. Arkansas clinched the No. 5 seed in next week's SEC Tournament.

Bobby Wernes and Cullen Gassaway each hit home runs, and the Razorbacks capitalized on six Georgia errors to even the series.

Arkansas freshman Keaton McKinney pitched seven scoreless innings to earn the win. McKinney struck out four batters as the Razorbacks won for the seventh time in his last eight starts.

Dominic Taccolini pitched two scoreless innings in relief.

Wernes hit a two-run home run in the first inning and Gassaway added a solo home run in the second to quickly give Arkansas a 3-0 lead. Michael Bernal, who had four hits, scored on an error later in the second inning, and Georgia committed two more errors during a four-run Razorbacks fourth inning that blew the game open.

Andrew Benintendi had RBI hits in the fourth and eighth innings for Arkansas, bringing his season total to 51 RBIs. Benintendi finished the game 2-for-5 and has an SEC-leading .411 batting average entering the final day of the regular season.

The Razorbacks have not lost back-to-back games since March.
