FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas Coach Lance Harter said his women’s track and field team is healthy for this weekend’s SEC Outdoor Championships.

That includes the coach.

Harter underwent surgery last Wednesday to have his gall bladder removed.

“It was a scope,” Harter said of the procedure. “They went in with multiple sites on the scope and, believe it or not, they pull that thing out of your belly button.

“My belly button is a little bit traumatized right now, but the rest of me is pretty good. I’m happy and healthy and ready to go.”
