Farmington senior Teah L. Flynn signed a letter of intent on Monday to play tennis at Lindenwood University in Belleville, Ill.

Flynn, who has spearheaded the Keep the Ball in Motion fund-raiser for genomic cancer research at Washington University in St. Louis, helped the Lady Cardinals to a fifth-place finish at the Class 5A state tennis tournament last fall. She advanced to the second round of state in singles play. She won the 5A-West singles championship and was named to the 5A All-State team.

Last week, she was selected to receive the Arkansas Activities Association's AAA/Centennial Bank Athletic Community Service Award along with several other scholarship awards, including the Margie O'Brien Scholarship provided by the Women's Tennis Association of Little Rock.
