Southern rocker Hank Williams Jr. will perform at the Walmart AMP on Aug. 22, the Rogers concert venue said Monday.

The singer will be joined by rock band 38 Special and country music group Whiskey Myers for the 7:30 p.m. show, Walmart AMP said. Williams is known for hits such as “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight,” “Born to Boogie,” and "A Country Boy Can Survive,” and 38 Special is associated with smashes such as “Hold On Loosely” and “Caught Up in You.”

Tickets, which range in price from $41-95.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Walton Arts Center Box Office, by calling (479) 443-5600 or by visiting www.amptickets.com. The Walmart AMP box office in Rogers is closed, the venue said.
