Keaton McKinney threw a complete game shutout and Andrew Benintendi added 3 RBIs as No. 23 Arkansas finished off a series sweep of Alabama on Saturday.

Notable: The Razorbacks recorded their first sweep of a conference opponent this season.

McKinney allowed just two hits and one walk as the Razorbacks beat the Crimson Tide 4-0 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. The freshman became the first Arkansas pitcher since Brett Eibner in 2009 to throw nine shutout innings.

The complete game was McKinney's second this season. No other SEC freshman has thrown a complete game.

Benintendi added RBIs in three separate at-bats, including a solo home run to leadoff the top of the fifth inning to extend the Razorbacks' lead to 2-0. The home run was Benintendi's 15th this season, which leads the nation.

Benintendi's two-out single in the third inning scored Michael Bernal to break a scoreless tie. He added an eighth inning sacrifice fly to score Joe Serrano.

Rick Nomura capped the scoring for the Razorbacks with a solo home run in the ninth inning.

Arkansas has won 18 of its last 24 games, including 13 of its last 18 in conference play. The Razorbacks will host Tennessee beginning next Friday at Baum Stadium.
