FRIDAY ROGERS HIGH 5, PERKINS-TRYON, OKLA., 0 ROGERS HIGH 9, BLANCHARD, OKLA. 6

Evan Dobler tossed a six-hitter to lead the Mounties to the victory in the McCloud Invitaitonal in Shawnee, Okla., on Friday. Dobler scattered six hits over seven innings. He struck out three and walked one. Brandon Mabry went 2-for-3, drove in a run and score a run. The Mounties managed just five hits in the game. In the late game, the Mounties (7-2) scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to rally to reach the tournament championship. Jacob Ivey, who went 3-for-3, scored the go-ahead run on a bases-loaded walk. Derek Sallee went 2-for-3, drove in two, and picked up the win on the mound. Grayson Lee also drove in two for the Mounties, who trailed 4-0 and 6-5. Rogers will play in the tournament finals at 7:15 tonight.

SPRINGDALE HIGH 10, PRAIRIE GROVE 2

Kyler Johnston pitched five solid innings to earn the win as Springdale High beat tournament host Prairie Grove in the semifinals Friday. Peyton Perry went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Bulldogs, while Michael Harrington also had three hits and Trevor Beadle added two. Springdale will play in the title game today at 5:30 p.m.

THURSDAY ROGERS HIGH 8, DALE, OKLA. 7

Jay Young’s run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning lifted the Mounties to a narrow victory in the McCloud Invitational in Shawnee, Okla., on Thursday night. Young went 3-for-4 and drove in four runs to help the Mounties (5-2) who scored twice in the top of the sixth Grayson Lee also had two hits, drove in a run and scored twice. Evan Dobler picked up the win with a scoreless inning, while Derek Sallee pitched a scoreless inning to notch the save.

OZARK 7, GRAVETTE 5

The Lions lost a first-round game in the Prairie Grove Tournament to Ozark on Thursday. Avery Burron took the loss for Gravette, allowing six runs on six hits and walked three over 3 innings. Coleman McClure earned the win for the Hillbillies. Cody Fields was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI for Gravette (4-1). Luke Summerford was 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs. The Lions will take on Farmington ato 10 a.m. today.
