Construction work at the Interstate 430/Interstate 630 "Big Rock" Interchange will require some temporary lane closures, state Highway and Transportation Department officials said.
A crew will be welding in two areas -- the I-430 southbound to I-630 eastbound and the I-630 westbound to I-430 southbound flyover ramps, the department said.
The work will require alternately closing the I-630 eastbound inside or outside lane.
The closure will extend from Shackleford Road to the Baptist Health exit ramp. The eastbound lane closures will run from Sunday night through Tuesday morning, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather permitting.
Additionally, state highway officials will alternately close the I-630 westbound inside or outside lane because of the welding work.
That closure will extend from the Baptist Health exit to the I-430 overpass. The westbound lane closures will last from Wednesday night through Friday morning, weather permitting, from 9 p.m.-5 a.m.
