Jenna Theresa Bullard and Geoffrey Matthew Bird exchanged marriage vows at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 19, in St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in New Orleans. The Rev. Luis Rodriguez officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Maria and Hugh Bullard of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Genevieve and Harold Eck of New Orleans and the late Loudean and Hugh McCoy Bullard of Newport.

The groom is the son of Cynthia and Gary Bird of New Orleans. His grandparents are Merle and Charles Cabibi Jr. of Metairie, La., and the late Betty and Charles Bird, also of New Orleans.

The candlelit ceremony had music by organist Robert Zanca, vocalist Elizabeth Evans and trumpeter Chip Hellmers.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown of lace with a sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of white, cream and pink roses, calla lilies and peonies along with her grandmother's rosary.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were her sisters Mia Rose Bullard of Orlando, Fla., and Olivia Noel Bullard of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Brittaney Burke of Alexandria, La.; Jennifer Frederickson of Baton Rouge and Hillary Klein of New Orleans, cousins of the bride; Kaitlin Hainkin of Slidell, La.; and Jessica Ryan of Metairie, cousin of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Emma Bullard of Little Rock, sister of the bride. They wore strapless blush pink gowns. Flower girl and ring bearer were Kay Frederickson and Will Frederickson of Baton Rouge, cousins of the bride.

Best man was John Sisney of New Orleans. Groomsmen were Trent Bullard of Little Rock, brother of the bride; Matthew Breaux of Lafayette, La.; Roland Hymel of New Orleans; Brandon Utterback of Atascocita, Texas; and Patrick Ryan of Metairie. Guests were seated by uncles of the bride and groom, Patrick Eck of Picayune, Miss., and Frank Monzon of Metairie.

A reception in New Orleans City Park at Popp Fountain and the adjacent Arbor Room followed the ceremony. Arrangements of roses, peonies, hydrangeas and gardenias in shades of white, cream and blush rose decorated tables. Music was by The Boogie Men, a New Orleans horn band.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She is an industrial hygienist for Center for Toxicology and Environmental Health of Little Rock, based in their New Orleans office.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the university and a doctor of dental surgery degree from the university's school of dentistry. He is beginning his dental residency at the school.

Following a wedding trip, the couple will make their home in Baton Rouge.
