Eureka Springs hotel adding Spa1905

The 1905 Basin Park Hotel in downtown Eureka Springs is opening a new and expanded spa Wednesday, 110 years after the hotel opened.

Day spa services include Aveda stress fix and chakra balance massages, Aveda retail center, sun deck with sauna and hot tub, a rain bar for mud wraps and exfoliations and duet services for couples.

The Aveda salon will offer guests and neighbors manicures, pedicures and hairstyling.

Kimberly Roberts, manager of New Moon Spa, will also manage Spa1905 in the new position of director of spas. Hayley Franklin will be assistant director.

Spa1905 will host a grand opening celebration from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday.

Little Greek takes 'Fresh Grill' name

Little Greek has 20 locations in Florida, Texas and Arkansas, including a restaurant in the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville. The chain celebrates 11 years in July.

Nick Vojnovic, Little Greek president, said the name change helps the chain define its emphasis on fresh and healthful food with a Mediterranean flair.
