The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System is hosting a meeting in El Dorado today to allow veterans to ask questions and share concerns.
The meeting will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the American Legion, Post 10, at 105 Christian Drive.
Representatives from the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System and Little Rock's Veterans Benefits Administration, which is part of the U.S. Veterans Affairs Department, will be present. The regional benefits office is one of 56 around the country that determine entitlement to disability compensation for service-related injuries or illnesses and other benefits.
Today's meeting will be the latest hosted by the VA since August, when U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert McDonald ordered each VA region in the country to hold such events.
The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System operates a community-based outpatient clinic in El Dorado.
