OMAHA, Neb. — Arkansas' stay at the College World Series is over.
The Razorbacks lost 4-3 to Miami in an elimination game Monday at TD Ameritrade Park. The Hurricanes scored the winning run in the ninth inning on Jacob Heyward's RBI single.
Heyward, the younger brother of St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jason Heyward, went 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs. He hit a two-run home run to break a scoreless tie in the fifth inning.

Arkansas finished its season with a 40-25 overall record. The Razorbacks were 0-2 at the College World Series.
Miami pitcher Bryan Garcia worked out of a bases loaded jam in the top of the ninth inning to set up the Hurricanes' game-winner. Arkansas second baseman Rick Nomura grounded out to end the threat.
The Razorbacks stranded 11 base runners, including six over the final three innings. Arkansas had runners in eight of nine innings but only scored three runs for the second straight game.
Arkansas pulled within 2-1 on Nomura's RBI single in the sixth inning and tied the game 2-2 on an RBI single by Bobby Wernes in the seventh.
Miami regained the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning on a double-error by the Razorbacks, which committed four errors in all. Brett McAfee tied the game 3-3 in the top of the eighth inning with an RBI single.
Carson Shaddy led off the ninth inning with a hit for Arkansas. The Razorbacks loaded the bases when the Hurricanes intentionally walked Andrew Benintendi and Tyler Spoon reached on a two-out error.
Nomura, who finished 3-for-4 with a walk, grounded out to the second baseman to end the half-inning.
Zach Jackson suffered the loss for Arkansas, allowing one run on two hits in 1 2/3 innings. Willie Abreu's leadoff double in the ninth inning was the first of two hits Jackson allowed.
The loss was the first for Jackson this season. He had not lost a decision since last season's final game at Virginia.
Keaton McKinney pitched 4 1/3 innings in a start for the Razorbacks. McKinney retired the first eight batters he faced, but lost velocity on his pitches and was pulled after a fifth inning single.
McKinney allowed one run on two hits and struck out three batters.
Heyward's home run came off reliever Jackson Lowery, who pitched 1 2/3 innings. Lowery worked around the bases loaded in the seventh inning to keep the Razorbacks within one run.
