About 9 p.m., police were called to 2908 W. 13th St. where they found Clifton Page, 37, of Little Rock rolling on the ground in front of the house and bleeding from his nose.

Police Sgt. James Lesher said Page reportedly had been in a fight with several people there.

Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services workers also were dispatched to the scene and began treating Page in the back of the ambulance. After he lost consciousness, CPR was administered. He was transported to UAMS Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Steven McClanahan said he was notified at 10:51 p.m. that Page was dead.

Police did not know whether Page lived in the area or knew the residents of the house, McClanahan said Saturday.

Page's slaying is the city's 13th homicide of the year, police said.

McClanahan said no assailants had been identified and an investigation is underway.
