A Texas man was arrested Friday in Fayetteville for attempting to purchase new service for 10 cellphone lines at two Best Buy stores with fraudulent information.

Chaddrick Tremaine Johnson, 27, of 309 Helmin No. 503 in Sulphur Springs, Texas, was arrested Friday in connection with 10 counts of financial identity fraud, possession of fraudulent identification, two counts of attempted forgery and obstructing governmental operations, according to a preliminary police report.

Police were called to Best Buy Mobile, 4201 N. Shiloh Drive, where staff told them a man dressed as a construction worker was attempting to purchase five 64GB iPhone 6 models with low-data plans, according to a preliminary arrest report. Johnson told police his name during questioning, according to the report.

Rogers police logs indicate theft was reported at 3:38 p.m. Friday from Best Buy, 2200 S. Promenade Blvd. Store staff told police Chaddrick Johnson, who had been jailed by Fayetteville police, purchased several phones valued at $900 as Daniel Milligan on Thursday.

Johnson was being held Sunday in the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
