ROGERS — The Rogers Police Department is investigating the Friday shooting deaths of two people as an apparent murder-suicide, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.
Police responded to a mobile home park at 1309 E. New Hope Road for a report of shots fired at about 9:54 p.m. Friday. They found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds, according to the post.
The man was taken to Mercy Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, and the woman was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center, where she died later the post stated.
Police have not released the identities of the man or woman pending notification of next of kin.
