Benton County

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers, 1101 W. Hudson Road, celebrates the oneness of the congregation with a single service at 10 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school and Bible classes begin at 8:45 a.m. A potluck meal and voters meeting are scheduled after the worship service.

Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers, 2555 S. 26th St., offers vacation Bible school from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday to July 25 for children in kindergarten through the sixth grade. First United Methodist Church in Springdale, 206 W. Johnson Ave., offers vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, for 3-year-olds to sixth-graders. The theme is "Come Conquer Everest With God's Mighty Power."

The church sponsors a Pak a Sak collection of nonperishable food Sunday. Donations will be delivered to the Care and Share Food Pantry in Gravette. The Care and Share trailer will be at the church Monday for donations.

The church sponsors a meeting of the caregivers support group at 9 a.m. July 27. Darci Englin, nurse manager and dementia practitioner with Mercy Behavorial Senior Health, speaks on issues of anger, aggression and disruptive behavior. The group meets on the second and fourth Monday of the month.

The church sponsors its annual rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 1.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1110 S.E. Evergreen St., Bentonville, presents retired Benton County Circuit Judge Tom J. Keith speaking at 11 a.m. Sunday. He will speak about personal worth and dignity and his role as a judge and mentor.

The church hosts an Alzheimer's caregivers seminar Friday, sponsored by the Auxiliary of Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Betsy Broyles-Arnold, chief executive officer for the Frank and Barbara Broyles Foundation and daughter of the Broyleses, speaks from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Molly Arnold-Gay, vice president for external affairs of the foundation and granddaughter of the Broyleses, speaks from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Schmieding Center presents Pam Adams, a nurse, speaking about stroke awareness at noon July 28 at the church.
