Two Chick-fil-A employees were shot in Conway on Tuesday night in an attempted robbery, according to police.
An employee walked out of the back door of the restaurant at 2510 Prince St. around 10:50 p.m. and ran into a man with a gun, Conway police said in a news release. The man, who is described by police as a light-skinned black man wearing a hoodie, forced the employee back into the restaurant and then shot both employees, the release said.
Police said the man fled the restaurant in an unknown direction. Both of the employees were taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening, according to Conway police spokesman LaTresha Woodruff.
