Location: Park in the lot 0.4 mile west of the visitor center at Lake Catherine State Park.

Length: The easy, barrier-free concrete loop is a tad more than a half mile long -- perfect for walking two or three times.
Main attractions: Scenic Slunger Creek babbles alongside most of the flat, shady trail. Take your camera for the wildflowers.

Dog, bike, tyke friendly? No bikes allowed, but Fido and the smallest fry will especially enjoy this pristine nature walk.
