Correction: The Pulaski County sheriff’s office captured an unidentified man in Little Rock on Monday who was suspected of robbing a Hot Springs bank earlier that day. A man suspected of robbing a Hot Springs bank Monday was later captured in Little Rock, according to the Hot Springs Police Department.
Hot Springs police responded about 1:30 p.m. to Malvern National Bank, 321 Section Line Road. By the time officers arrived, the suspect had fled, said police spokesman Cpl. McCrary Means.
Police sent out a statewide broadcast describing the suspect and his vehicle.
Little Rock police found the vehicle later Monday afternoon, and the man was stopped and arrested.
Police did not release the identity of the suspect Monday night.
