LR man shot in leg while parked in lot

A Little Rock man was shot in the leg Sunday morning in a Kroger parking lot, police said.

Camern Jackson told officers that he was with his cousin at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in a vehicle that was parked in front of the Kroger at 6420 Colonel Glenn Road when a dark Ford Mustang and a Pontiac pulled up beside them on opposite sides, Lt. Steve McClanahan said.

Jackson reported that an argument occurred between the people in the other vehicles and they shot him in the right leg, McClanahan said.

He was sent to CHI St. Vincent Infirmary for the injury, which was not life-threatening, McClanahan said.

No suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing, McClanahan said.
