Electrical work requires closing interstate in Rogers

ROGERS -- Electrical work will require the temporary closing of Interstate 49 in Benton County.

A Carroll Electric Cooperative crew will remove an electric line over the interstate, according to a Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department news release.

The work will be done about 1,600 feet north of New Hope Road, Exit 83. It will require closing all traffic between New Hope Road and Walnut Street/Walton Boulevard, Exit 85.

The closing will be from 5:30 to 6 a.m. July 12, weather permitting.
