LR District Court shuts for upgrade

The Little Rock District Court building downtown will be closed today through Sunday to allow for a new document-management system to be installed.

Only necessary personnel needed for the conversion will be working during these three days. Online services became unavailable Thursday to allow for the switch.

The building on Markham Street will reopen for normal hours Monday at 8 a.m.

The court will upgrade to a system called Contexte that is being installed by the state Administrative Office of the Courts throughout Arkansas.

"In addition to case management, Contexte offers an in-court processing module, an online payment module and a public access component," a news announcement said.
