HENDERSON STATE 91, HARDING 85

Host Henderson State (7-11, 5-7 GAC) shot 52 percent from the field Thursday night to defeat No. 16 Harding (15-3, 11-1), snapping the Lady Bisons’ 20-game conference winning streak. Dulincia Keener led Henderson State with 20 points, hitting 6 of 8 shots from the field and 8 of 11 free throws. The Reddies made 11 three-pointers, including four each by Victoria Stewart and Haleigh Henson.

Lundon Williams came off the bench and tied a season-high with 19 points for Harding. Sydney Layrock added 18 points, Montana Lewis 17 points and A’ndrea Haney 12 points.

SOUTHERN ARKANSAS 57, ARKANSAS TECH 52

Chanel Miller scored 13 points and Brianna Sifford added 11 as host Southern Arkansas (5-13, 3-9 GAC) knocked off No. 20 Arkansas Tech (15-3, 10-2) at W.T. Watson Center in Magnolia.

Miller made 4 of 6 shots from the field to pace the Lady Muleriders, who shot 35.6 percent (21 of 59).

Fatima Adams scored a game-high 20 points for Arkansas Tech, which came into the game averaging 79.4 points per game but shot 30.6 percent (15 of 49) from the field. Danielle Frachiseur added 15 points and Anissa Pounds had 10.

ARKANSAS-MONTICELLO 73, OUACHITA BAPTIST 52

Jordan Goforth scored 24 points as host Arkansas-Monticello (9-8, 7-5 GAC) shot 51.8 percent from the field in a victory over Ouachita Baptist (7-12, 3-9).

Nikki Mullen added 14 points for the Cotton Blossoms, while Neisha Peterson scored 11 and Tori Nichols had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Breanna Harris led OBU with 17 points, and Katie Kapler added 13 for the Lady Tigers.

MEN

OUACHITA BAPTIST 80, ARKANSAS-MONTICELLO 74

Tirrell Brown scored 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting to lead Ouachita Baptist (13-4, 9-3 Great American Conference) past Arkansas-Monticello (5-11, 2-10) at Steelman Field House in Monticello. Micah Delph finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Justin McCleary had 16 points and four rebounds, while Colt Fason added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocked shots for Ouachita Baptist.

Richard Benedyth led UAM with 22 points. Cameron Blue had 21 points, and Sharif Hudson added 11 points and 10 rebounds.

OBU is tied with Southern Arkansas at the top of the GAC standings. The Tigers host Arkansas Tech on Saturday.

HARDING 74, HENDERSON STATE 61

Harding (10-8, 8-4) held Henderson State (8-10, 5-7) to 26 percent shooting in the second half in a victory at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia.

Andraz Kavas led the Bisons with 20 points. Blake McNair had 15 points. Rashad Perkins finished with 15 points and eight rebounds to lead the Reddies.

SOUTHERN ARKANSAS 109, ARKANSAS TECH 89

Southern Arkansas (13-5, 9-3) made 12 three-pointers in a rout of Arkansas Tech (9-11, 5-7) at W.T. Watson Athletic Center in Magnolia.

Kevin Jordan led the Muleriders with 17 points. Jaron Davis scored 16 points. Alre’k Brown had 15 points, while Deon Andrews and Desmond Champion each added 12 points.

Mike Balogun had a game-high 19 points for the Wonder Boys. D.J. Jethroe added 15 points.
