Masquerade, rendezvous, laugh

Themes make for festive fundraisers

“It will be an evening of many voyages through the music of the world’s largest group of people, the Romani gypsy,” Nikola Radan says of the band Unzaa’s “One Night Only” performance Feb. 28 at the Arts Center of the Ozarks. Unzaa, formed in 2013, plays Gypsy jazz. “In our repertoire you can hear some of the original contemporary arrangements we made of traditional Romani music from Spain (Flamenco), the Balkans, Hungary and the Middle East, to name a few,” Radan says. Radan promises “that the night of Feb. 28 at the ACO is going to be unique, magical, upbeat, groovy, memorable and passionate.”
