A Boone County man was killed Monday in a single-vehicle wreck, the Arkansas State Police said.
Charles Gabbard, 64, of Omaha was a Chevrolet pickup driving east on Arkansas 14 north of his hometown about 12:25 p.m. when he tried to negotiate a left-hand curve, spun around and overturned, according to a state police accident report.
It wasn't clear what caused the accident. The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident, the report states.
Gabbard's death marked the 17th in wrecks on Arkansas roads in 2015, according to preliminary state police figures.
