• Santiago Ortiz-Fernandez, 23, of 2701 S. Morlan Ave. was arrested Sunday in connection with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance. He was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center without bond.

Washington County Sheriff's Office

• Kenneth Hawes, 26, of 12350 Main Ave. in Lowell was arrested Monday in connection with failure to appear. He was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $76,605 bond.

• Jason Perkins, 33, of 15759 Paschal Road in Elkins was arrested Sunday in connection with felony residential burglary, theft of property and possession of a firearm by a certain person. He was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center without bond.

• Randall Yerton, 66, of 16395 Hamstring Road in Fayetteville was arrested Monday in connection with theft of property. He was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center without bond.

• A burglary was reported at 9:47 p.m. Saturday at 803 S.E. Hummingbird Lane.

• A burglary was reported at 2:23 a.m. Sunday at 2610 N.W. A St.

• Theft was reported Monday at 1189 N. Garland Ave.

• A burglary was reported Monday at 2920 N. College Ave.

• A break-in was reported Monday at 615 W. Cheshire Court.

• A break-in was reported Monday at 201 W. Village Lake Drive.

• A vehicle was reported stolen Monday at 93 W. Village Lake Drive.

• Burglary was reported at 6:57 p.m. Sunday at 2001 S. Hampton Place. A generator was stolen from a garage.

• Breaking and entering was reported at 1:07 p.m. Sunday at 2409 S. 17th St. A softball bag was reported stolen.

• Theft was reported Monday at 102 N. Gutensohn Road.

• A burglary was reported Sunday at 1968 Windsor Ave.

Washington County Sheriff's Office

• A burglary was reported Sunday at 15375 Paschal Road in Fayetteville.

Fire

Rogers

• A resident put out a trash fire at 7:06 p.m. Friday at 700 E. Sky Mountain Drive.

• Firefighters put out a fire in a dryer at 8:48 p.m. Saturday at the Laundry Mat, located at 308 E. New Hope Road.

• Firefighters put out a fire that caused about $100,000 in damages at 2:14 p.m. Sunday at 2506 W. Marquette Road. No one was injured in the blaze. The case remains under investigation, but firefighters do not expect arson.

• Construction work at the Armed Forces Career Center caused an "electrical" smell at 1:26 p.m. Monday at JJ's Grill, at 4500 W. Walnut St., Suite 3. Firefighters found no fire.
