Where I live: We live on an old trout farm right on the line between Johnson and Springdale. It's a beautiful property, and it's got about four acres or so. The front yard is basically the old breeding pool for the trout farm that was there -- although obviously we're not running it now. There are quite a few fish still. It's pretty close to my in-laws' house, and my wife is very close to her parents. We plan to tear down the house and build something new.

Occupation: Owner of Onyx Coffee Lab. Onyx is now about 3 years old. We are a specialty coffee roastery and own a couple of cafes. I travel all over the world to find our coffees. We have very high standards on how we curate our coffee, and we have our hands on every step of the process.

My favorite space: My front porch.

Why? We live there because of the land, so we try to take advantage of that as much as possible. My wife also rides horses and does barrel racing, so we spend a lot of time outside. It's relaxing out there. The view is pretty, but, also, from where we sit, you can't see anything but the trout farm and a lot of wildlife.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Make it more structurally sound.
