"Brandon can shoot the basketball, and he was on," said NOAH coach Chris Wallace. "I challenged him at the first to get his inside game going and he did that. That opened up the 3-pointer for him."

Rogers was within five points late in the first half ,but NOAH closed out the half with a 6-0 run for a 34-23 lead. NOAH then opened the second half with another 6-0 run to take command with a 40-23 lead.

"Cold shooting, and we had some bad shot selection on our part," said Rogers coach Wayne Herren. "But that is the best team we have played this year. George had a good game, and Milacio continues to battle."

Rogers junior Daniel Salvador was injured in the fourth quarter and taken to Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville. Salvador collided with a teammate and hit the court hard at midcourt with 6 minutes, 55 seconds left in the game. He appeared to be unconscious for several seconds.

An ambulance was called and Salvador left on a stretcher wearing a neck brace and he was on a back board.

"All we know is that they are taking him to Washington Regional because they have the best neurologists," Herren said following the game. "He was scared, obviously. He was knocked out for a brief moment. We are just going to put it in God's hands and we hope to get a good report."
