Where I live: I've lived in the Leawood neighborhood of Little Rock with my wife, Patty, for 18 years. We have two children with spouses and grandchildren.

Occupation: I am the owner of Oak Forest Cleaners and Laundry, a company my father founded in 1951. We have two locations -- one on Fair Park Boulevard at 12th Street and one on West Markham Street.

My favorite space: Our downstairs den.

Why: The den is a spacious room (18 feet by 30 feet). It is a wonderful and comfortable room to relax in and great for entertaining. One end of the room is anchored by a 15-foot-long granite wet bar. Above the bar is the original sign from our Fair Park location -- a big red neon sign saying "Cleaning." The walls are covered with framed memorabilia of the business. A large table for six with a huge granite top is great for dining, playing cards or games or socializing. A massive entertainment center fills the other end of the room, surrounded by comfy sofas and chairs. The showpiece is a 55-inch television with a totally awesome sound system. The ambience of the room can range from a tranquil spot for one to a party that spills into the rest of the home with Elton John blasting through the speakers.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Add a 110-inch retractable projection screen.
