Investigation continues after woman found dead in Siloam Springs motel

The body of a 24-year-old woman found dead Monday in a Siloam Springs motel room has been sent to the State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy, according to a news release from Siloam Springs.

The initial investigation revealed no evidence of foul play in the death of Kayla Rae Butler, but the investigation is continuing and the the autopsy was requested based on information police received and concerns of Butler's family, according to the news release.

Butler's husband, Russell Scott Butler, was arrested on felony warrants but was not arrested in connection with "any event that occurred at the scene," according to the news release.

Kayla Rae Butler was from Gentry, but her last known address was the Stone Inn, 1150 Arkansas 412 West, where her body was found.
