WEST FORK -- Once Ryan Roebke got in his hot zone, West Fork put to rest any doubts Friday at the Tiger Dome.
Roebke caught fire and scored 13 unanswered points in the third quarter, turning a competitive game against Mansfield into a blowout. Once Roebke and his West Fork teammates were done, the Tigers had themselves an impressive 53-22 win, not to mention the final touch on an undisputed 3A-1 West Conference championship.

"We just played as a team," Roebke said. "We were finding open shots and moving the ball around and it felt great."
Mansfield (14-12, 7-5 3A-1 West) was its worst enemy for much of the night, committing 10 turnovers in the first half and making just 1 of 6 free throws before intermission to fall behind 25-14 at the break. Mansfield was still fighting to stay within single digits early in the third quarter, but had no answer for Roebke's hot shooting streak.
"He always plays well against us and always does well for them as a scorer and a leader," Mansfield coach Keith Dake said. "Any coach would be happy to have a guy like him on their team."
Roebke finished 22, 14 of which came in the third quarter alone.
"We're happy to finish as conference champs," Roebke said. "Now we can work this weekend and get ready for district,"
West Fork (17-8, 10-2) is the No. 1 seed at the 3A-1 West District Tournament in Cedarville and receives a bye to Friday's action. Mansfield will play Tuesday.

West Fork limited Mansfield to four field goals in the first half and just three points in the second quarter alone, building a big margin before intermission before rolling the rest of the way.
"We played well defensively," West Fork coach Rodney Selph said. "We stayed in our man-to-man and that led to some points on the other end for us."
Olivia Karnes led West Fork with 15. The Lady Tigers (18-9, 8-4) are set as the No. 3 seed at the 3A-1 West District Tournament next week in Cedarville.
