County teen jailed in home invasion

Pulaski County sheriff's deputies arrested a county teenager Saturday afternoon and charged him with first-degree false imprisonment, aggravated assault and aggravated robbery, according to an arrest report.

Andrew Scott Middleton, 18, of 12514 MacArthur Drive was arrested at 5 p.m. Saturday at his house, the report states.

Deputies said Middleton was the person who kicked open the front door of a residence in the 10000 block of Muscadine Lane in north-central Pulaski County, searched the residence, damaged property and threatened to shoot the resident.

Middleton was being held in the Pulaski County jail Saturday night in lieu of $20,000 bond.

Cashier accused of aiding in theft

A North Little Rock Home Depot employee was arrested Saturday afternoon, accused of assisting a customer in the theft of approximately $2,250 in property, police said.

Braylon Keyshawn Parks, 18, of 425 Live Oak Drive in North Little Rock was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Saturday at the Home Depot at 4325 E. McCain Blvd. and charged with felony theft of property, according to an arrest report.

Police reported that an employee stated that Parks, while working as a cashier on three occasions, scanned merchandise for a customer and then removed the merchandise from the transaction, allowing the customer to leave the store without paying for the merchandise.

Police said $2,248.36 worth of merchandise was stolen using this method on Jan. 4, 24 and 25.

Parks was being held in the Pulaski County jail Saturday night in lieu of $5,000 bond.
