Sales tax revenue up in area cities

Sales tax revenues are up Northwest Arkansas' biggest cities.

Cities received money from the state on October sales this week. Sales tax revenues tracked for this report represent a one percent sales tax.

Bentonville showed a 36.3 percent increase over last December with $1,201,499 received in sales tax this month.

Fayetteville had a 10.7 percent increase over last year with $1,724,014.

Rogers was up 14.1 percent over last year with $1,399,273 received in sales tax this month.

Springdale was up 15.2 percent over last year with $1,150,384.
