Workplace firm holds grand opening

Bentonville Workplace at 900 S.E. Fifth St., Suite 22, offers private offices, virtual office services and conference room rentals to businesses of all sizes.

The company started accepting business users in June and celebrated its grand opening last week.

Virtual office services allow out-of-area and home-based entrepreneurs to have a professional address, mail service and a meeting place. Businesses can choose from furnished and unfurnished private offices and executive suites. There is also a lounge for networking.

Jon Cadieux is Bentonville Workplace founder, and his firm, 455 Media Group LLC, owns the site. He was named Rotarian of the Year in 2014 and received the NWA Technology Council Innovator of the Year Award.

Tyco opens special center for Wal-Mart

Tyco Retail Solutions opened a state-of-the-art Retail Experience Center for Wal-Mart in Bentonville. This is the first center Tyco built exclusively for one client.

The showroom and simulated retail store offers Wal-Mart executives from around the world access to resources and fosters an open exchange of ideas and insights. Tyco is a provider of integrated retail performance and security solutions, which are used at more than 80 percent of the world's top 200 retailers.

Focus areas in Bentonville include: traffic and inventory intelligence, EAS, source tagging, video surveillance, fire suppression, fire detection and intrusion detection. The center will continually evolve to highlight Tyco's latest offerings and new product concepts.

Fort Smith Cintas recognized for safety

Cintas Corp.'s Fort Smith manufacturing location received the Voluntary Protection Program Star certification from the Arkansas Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The certification is the agency's highest recognition for occupational safety and health.

The Fort Smith Cintas location employs 50 people and is the 29th Cintas facility in the United States to receive Star designation since 2011. The Fort Smith facility has been injury-free for five years. The designation required monthly audits and collaboration between management and employee-partners to achieve continuous safety improvement.

Cintas Corp. has approximately 330 facilities throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Honduras. Cintas is headquartered in Cincinnati and designs, manufactures and implements corporate identity uniform programs. It also provides entrance mats, restroom supplies, first aid, safety and fire protection products and services.

Area companies make Inc. 5000 list

A handful of Northwest Arkansas-based companies are ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Inc. magazine is a monthly publication focused on growing companies.

Collective Bias, a data-driven shopper social media company, earned the area's highest mark at No. 808. This is the second year Collective Bias made the list. It ranked No. 589 in 2014. The Rogers-based company's revenue grew 548 percent over three years and was $21.3 million in 2014. It has 104 employees.

Hebco was ranked No. 2,087. The Springdale-based company provides engineering and technical services for the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of Energy. Revenue grew 188 percent over the past three years and was $24.8 million in 2014. It has 141 employees. Hebco was also on the list in 2010, ranking No. 1,941.

Fayetteville-based capSpire, a global consulting and services company serving the commodity trade and risk management sector of the energy industry, ranked No. 2,356. Three-year revenue growth was 162 percent. Last year's revenue was $9.1 million. The company has 44 employees. This is the third-straight year capSpire made the list. In 2013, it was No. 773.

Central Research provides specialized administrative services to state and federal agencies, and ranked No. 4,612. Three-year revenue growth was 54 percent and was $7.3 million in 2014. The Lowell-based firm has 87 employees. This is the fifth consecutive year that Central Research made the list, reaching its highest ranking in 2012 at No. 703.
