— C.J. O'Grady, a freshman tight end on Arkansas' football team, was arrested Friday and charged with driving while intoxicated.

O'Grady, 18, was booked in the Washington County jail under his legal name, Cheyenne, at 6:34 a.m., Friday. He was released before noon on a $1,265 bond.

According to the arrest report, O'Grady was pulled over at 1:33 a.m., Friday just north of the University of Arkansas campus because he didn't have a working tail light on his motor scooter. The officer noted in his report that O'Grady had watery, bloodshot eyes, was slurring his words and smelled of alcohol.

O'Grady was taken to the Washington County jail and at 2:47 a.m. registered a blood alcohol level of .099 - nearly five times the legal limit for minors in Arkansas.

He was charged with a minor in possession of alcohol, and cited for an improper tail light and no proof of insurance. He has a hearing in Fayetteville District Court on Monday.

O'Grady is the second Arkansas football player to be arrested this year. Defensive end Tevin Beanum was arrested in February on a DWI charge.

Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said Thursday that O'Grady is likely to redshirt this season. He caught 41 passes for 766 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior at Fayetteville High School.

Editor's note: The blood alcohol level was initially mistyped. It has been corrected.
