The Downtown Rogers Master Plan will be the focus of a newly created organization named Downtown Rogers Inc., according to a Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce news release sent Tuesday afternoon.
Downtown Rogers will focus on “driving real estate developments and economic development”, the release states.
A board of directors will lead the organization, which will start under the chamber umbrella, the release states. Officials hope it will stand on its own in about four to five years, according to the news release.
The release states private and public partnerships will be sought to fund the organization's goals.
Chamber officials will officially announce the creation of Downtown Rogers during a Rogers City Council meeting tonight at City Hall, 301 W. Chestnut St. at 6:30 p.m.
