We know college students have a lot of expenses. Between the tuition, textbooks and nice quiet study parties with sensible food and beverage options, your bank account will see a lot of action during your college years. Luckily, Northwest Arkansas has more than a few businesses and entertainment venues which are sympathetic to the financial plight of the average college student. Here are some places in Northwest Arkansas you can save a buck or two just by flashing your student ID. Please note, not all of them have "Razorback" in their names!

For those students who graduate and decide to stick around, members of the Arkansas Alumni Association get discounts at many local restaurants and businesses. And if all else fails, asking "Do you offer a student discount?" everywhere you go may get some snickers from your friends, but you'd be surprised at the number of places offering secret discounts to the students who will ask. (I'm looking at you, Waffle House and Taco Bell!)
Best of luck saving those pennies, students. And welcome back!
