Police received a tip Tuesday about a girl who had been sexually assaulted by Oleson, according to the report.

Oleson did not register as a sex offender when he moved to a home on Friendship Road in Springdale, according to the report.

The girl used dolls to show investigators what Oleson did to her, according to the police report. Oleson raped and sodomized the girl repeatedly, according to the report.

A medical examination of the girl showed she had injuries, according to the report.

Oleson has a history of rape, sexual assault and failure to register as a sex offender, according to the police report.

Oleson was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a boy in 1996 in New Jersey, Keith Foster, Rogers police spokesman, wrote in email Wednesday. In Rogers, Oleson was listed as a level one sex offender, considered the lowest risk to the public, Foster said.

Oleson was at the Washington County Detention Center without bond Wednesday. He has an arraignment date set for Aug. 21, according to jail logs.
