A routine bridge inspection will require lane closures Tuesday on U.S. 70, also called East Grand Avenue, in Hot Springs, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Crews inspecting the bridges spanning Gulpha Creek just west of Magic Springs & Crystal Falls Water and Theme Park will require closing eastbound and westbound outside lanes, limiting traffic to one lane in each direction within the work zone, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Both bridges, which are 222 feet long and 33.6 feet wide, were constructed in 1958, according to the department.
