SPRINGDALE -- It was only fitting that Jonathan Dziedzic took the mound for Northwest Arkansas for International Left-Handers Day.
The southpaw notched his team-high eighth win of the season as he held San Antonio to four hits over seven innings, and the Naturals did all of their offensive damage in the fourth inning en route to a 3-1 decision at Arvest Ballpark.

"He's been good for us," Northwest Arkansas manager Vance Wilson said of Dziedzic, who won his fourth straight decision. "He's kind of stabilized the rotation for us a little bit. He's been going deep in games and saving the bullpen, so I can't say enough good things about him."
Dziedzic (8-6) matched his season-high of innings pitched and dropped his ERA to 3.12 season with his 99-pitch outing, while Kevin McCarthy and . He struck out six and walked two, and the only blemish on his record was the pitch that Alberth Martinez belted over the left-field fence for his 10th home run of the season.
The Naturals (57-59, 17-29) had already done their damage before Martinez belted his shot in the sixth inning. Northwest Arkansas batted around in the fourth inning and scored all of its runs after two were out, starting with Jorge Bonifacio's home run just inside the left-field foul pole.
"That kid works his tail off," Wilson said of Bonifacio. "He's had a little bit of a rough month, but again, that was a big left. We hadn't had a lead in a while against these guys and struggled. We could have put that pitcher away, but we swung at some bad pitches."
The inning was extended when Benji Gonzalez misplayed a Zane Evans grounder, and Frank Schwindel made San Antonio pay when his single drove in Hunter Dozier with the second run. Ramon Torres drove in the final Naturals run with a bases-loaded walk.
Short Hops:
• Bonifacio's home run was his first since July 6 against Midland, breaking a string of 32 games and 125 at-bats. It was also his 16th of the season, moving him in a tie with Jon Kimmer of Corpus Christi for second place among Texas League home run hitters.
• Alex Liddi and Schwindel each had three-hit nights and accounted for six of Northwest Arkansas' eight hits. It was the eighth time Liddi had picked up three hits in a game this season, while Schwindel did it for the second time since joining the team on July 7.
• Mark Peterson pitched a perfect ninth inning and picked up his first save of the season. It was the first save for the Naturals' reliever in almost a year, and it also came against San Antonio.
Extra Bases: Dziedzic was the winning pitcher in both Naturals victories over the Missions. ... The win gives Northwest Arkansas a 23-8 record this season in the last game of a series ... Bonifacio has the only two home runs the Naturals have hit against the Missions this year.
On Deck: Northwest Arkansas begins a three-game home series with Corpus Christi. The Naturals will send right-hander Luke Farrell (2-3, 3.39) to the mound to start the 7:15 p.m. contest, while the visiting Hooks counter with right-hander Kyle Westwood (7-6, 4.77).
Today's Promotion: It's the second Faith and Family Night of the season, and there will be a pregame concert by the Christian group Unspoken in the area beyond the left-field fence, beginning at 6 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and there will be fireworks after the game.
