2 die from wrecks along Arkansas 23

Two people died over the weekend after crashes on Arkansas highways, according to Arkansas State Police reports.

Christopher D. Reeves, 23, of Eureka Springs was traveling south on Arkansas 23 shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday when his Honda Civic crossed the centerline in a curve and hit an oncoming vehicle, according to a state police preliminary report. Reeves died at the scene.

Angela A. Beck, 42, of Ozone, was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

A 27-year-old Mulberry woman died after her vehicle overturned Friday afternoon, authorities said.

When Laronda Sullivan veered right to exit Arkansas 23, her 2006 Saturn Vue overturned multiple times, state police said.

The accident occurred at 3:20 p.m. Friday.

Sullivan was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She died Sunday from unspecified injuries.
