Tim Hoover joined Weichert, Realtors - The Griffin Company as a real estate agent. He joins a team of more than 50 agents at the Bentonville office. He is a member of the Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors and has worked as an online health coach and construction contractor.

Buck Choate started as associate creative director and creative lead for Shoptology’s Fayetteville creative team on March 23. He joins the shop from Marketwave, an integrated marketing agency in Addison, Texas. Choate will work with a range of clients including Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Direct Auto Insurance and The Walmart Museum. Shoptology employs about 30 people in offices in Fayetteville, New York and Plano, Texas.

Hershey Garner, J.D., M.D., was named interim chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Garner is board certified in radiation oncology from the American Board of Radiology and practices at Highlands Oncology Group in Northwest Arkansas. He previously served as clinical assistant professor in the UAMS Department of Radiation Oncology. Garner received a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law prior to earning his medical degree from the UAMS College of Medicine. He serves on several regional ethics committees and is active in many community organizations.
