PREP BASEBALL

ROGERS HERITAGE 12, SALLISAW, OKLA., 7

Sophomore second baseman Logan Eagley went 2-for-3, drove in four runs and scored three times to help the War Eagles notch the nonconference win. The War Eagles (7-9) jumped to an 8-0 lead after two innings and never looked back. Dane Olsen, Kyle Lamproe and Garrett Carmical had two hits each. Lamproe and Carmical drove in two runs apiece, while Olsen scored twice. Macauley Sams picked up the win, allowing one earned run over 4.1 innings.

LINCOLN 9, GENTRY 7

The Wolves rallied for six runs in the late innings to slip past Gentry in 4A-1 Conference action. Lincoln pounded out 10 hits, led by Cord McCaslin, who was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Tristan Young and Lane Maddox were 2-for-4 with a double each, and Young drove in three runs. McCaslin earned the pitching win, allowing two earned runs with eight strikeouts and seven walks.

PREP SOFTBALL

ROGERS HERITAGE 12, SPRINGDALE HIGH 1

Taylor Easley and Dasha Donahoe both went 3-for-3 and combined for five RBIs to lead the Lady War Eagles to the five-inning win. Alexa Enos and Mika Polumbo also both went 2-for-3 for Heritage (12-4-2, 6-2 7A-West). Polumbo also had a three-run home run. Donahoe picked up the complete-game win in the circle.

SHILOH CHRISTIAN 8, BERGMAN 0

Caroline Bandy needed just one half to find the net five times as Shiloh Christian posted another shutout. Kendyl Ruiz added two more first half goals to give the Lady Saints (8-1, 6-0) a 7-0 halftime lead. Veronica Adams added a late goal for Shiloh Christian. Jordan Hale had two assists, and Elizabeth Kaufman and Harper Whaley added one assist each. Bentonville 5, Springdale High 0 Bentonville did all of its scoring in the first half and cruised to a 7A-West Conference victory Thursday over Springdale at the Tiger Athletic Complex. McKenzie Dixon scored the first and fifth goals, giving her 27 for the season and putting her within nine of the single-season record she set last year. Lauren Hargus, Anna Passmore and Victoria Mitchell each added a goal for the Lady Tigers (12-4, 8-0 7A-West).
